Everyone loves when hot designers team up with affordable clothing stores to provide the every-person the opportunity to wear designer threads. It was announced yesterday that Philip Lim would be the latest to join the list of designers offering Target collections. The collection is divided into three sections, morning, noon, and night, and offers great classic pieces for every “on-the-go” occasion. Fun prints, rich deep colors, and sharp tailoring make the items easy to wear yet chic and sophisticated. I adore the blue blazer with the black collar paired with the blue trousers. I want to wear that outfit to work! The whole collection is full of work-appropriate tanks, trousers, dresses, and sweaters, plus more casual looks, “It” bags, sexy pjs, and men’s attire and accessories. Check out some of my favorite looks from the 100-piece collection, in stores September 15. Prices range from $19.99 to $299.99 for apparel and $19.99 to $59.99 for accessories.

On the other side of the pond, Kate Middleton has been impressing us with her beautiful clothes, many designed by Issa London. Most notably, the blue engagement dress with the wrap front. Issa has teamed up with Banana Republic to offer a collection, available now. A version of the engagement dress is there, along with wrap blouses, sweater tops, and other dresses, many in colorful prints. My favorite is the zebra printed sleeveless sweater dress and the color block top at the bottom.
