Summer may be basically over but the warm weather is still here. All year round but particularly in the warmer weather, printed pants are everywhere. I have become particularly infatuated with them this year, and designers and brands have been featuring them more and more. Fall is really the perfect time for them, because they are perfect for the cooler nights but light fabrics are able to make it through the warm days. Printed pants can be worn all year long, just make sure the fabric is season and temperature appropriate. The easiest way to wear them: paired with a solid top, but multi-colored or printed tops can be done if using the mixing prints guidelines. Both simple and bold accessories work, and fabulous shoes can also really make the look pop.
The two pairs of printed pants that I purchased at the beginning of the summer, from Ann Taylor (Petite Chevron Ankle Pants, on sale here) and LOFT (the Petite Marisa Wide Leg Linen Blend Pants in Vine Print, on sale here) got me through all my summer interviews looking like a sharp, sophisticated, and bold fashionista.
I wore them so much I decided I needed a third pair and after seeing a new colleague rocking a loose, pj-styled, black and white pair today, I found this great pair below on sale for $40, again at Ann Taylor (Dainty Geo Printed pant). The print is pretty basic but they fit to a tee.
Both Ann Taylor and LOFT are offering many printed pants, including tons currently on sale. Take advantage! I think I have to get the blue paisley ones, only $20! Click on the photos to bring you right to store page (just promise you’ll come back 🙂 )
Here are some other great printed pants looks. Be inspired!! The pics with descriptions are all wonderfully priced and have links to purchase sites.
