Premiere Of FX's "American Horror Story: Coven"

Can’t get enough of Ryan Murphy’s shows? Now you have another one to look forward to.

It was announced that Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the minds behind FOX’s beloved Glee and FX’s crazy hit American Horror Story are keeping things scary – FOX has ordered a new horror-comedy, called Scream Queens, from the pair and their Glee co-creator Ian Brennan.

Queens is going to be an anthology series, like AHS, in that seasons will be independent from one another. Each season will have a different location and a different plot. The first 15-episode season, which will debut in the fall of 2015, will be about a college campus rocked by murders.

Murphy stated that each season will be led by two female leads. Fantastic! The search has already begun for the two lead actresses, along with the lucky ten who will play supporting roles.

The weird part about this news? In a statement, Murphy said that he, Falchuk, and Brennan “hope to create a whole new genre—comedy-horror.” Hey Murph, this is not a new genre you  invented. What about Buffy and the Vampire Slayer, Evil Dead, or Beetlejuice? These guys are definitely arrogant, and for good reason, but come on – you are not inventing a new genre here.

But a new show following in the reboot footsteps of my precious American Horror Story, especially one led by ladies? Sounds amazing!
