Simply appearing in an ad campaign is not enough for this pop icon fashionista.

The CFDA-certified style icon and pop star has embarked in collaborative design in the past, helping to design Manolo Blahnik capsule and Fenty x Puma collections.  On Tuesday, May 25, the star announced a designing partnership with Dior on a line of futuristic, reflective sunglasses. The specs are inspired by Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge from Star Trek, famously portrayed by LeVar Burton.

The lenses will come in a single style but will be available in six colors. Women’s Wear Daily reports that the silver, pink, blue, green and red styles will cost $840, while a “deluxe” 24-karat gold-plated version will cost $1,950. The sharp shades will be available in June, only at Dior stores.

This is the very first time Dior’s eyewear designer Mathieu Jamin has worked with a celebrity. “She chose all the lenses and took time to match all the colors together to see if it was right on her face,” he told WWD.

RiRi posted pictures of herself wearing the silver and blue styles on her Instagram page in between stops on her “Anti” world tour. The glasses come out just in time for the upcoming Star Trek Beyond, hitting theaters in June.

What do you guys think? I, for one, am a huge fan. They look amazing on her! They won’t be easy to pull off but if you have a fierce, fearless fashion sense and money to burn, these shades will be an incredible collector’s item.
